The natural edge bowl uses the actual outside of the tree or bark area as the finished rim. These are also called free edge turnings. By keeping the natural bark or wavy free edge of the wood it adds total uniqueness to each piece.

The completly turned and finished edge can be made into a vast array of beads, coves, rounded or carved and embellished edges that add character and beauty to each piece.
