Most of the tools used are made out of necessity or from an idea to make a better mouse trap! Here is what we have created with other projects in the works.

Hollowing Tools - Steady Rests

The Hollowing tool is one of my favorites and is used most fo all the tools I have created. See it in action on our "How to Video" pages.

 

 

 

I use a 5/8" shaft bored to the hole size to accomodate the bit

size desired. The shaft is 18" long and so is the handle, ending

up with a 33" long tool.

I have discontinued making the tools and steady rests for now. I have many other projects that need my attention and I need to turn a bunch of pieces to keep the galleries happy. I may in the future make a few steady rests a month and list them for sale here and possibly on e-bay. Thank you everyone who has worked with me.
